The lovely Craftsman style cottage was once the sales building for the award winning Dawson Lakewood Developments Ltd Morgan Creek in Surrey BC. It was purchased from Nickel Bros House Moving Ltd., who barged it onto the property. The decor is an eclectic mix of styles and art. The concept is open. All but one window has an ocean view and that view is of an enchanting Arbutus arch, formed by two mature Arbutus.

The living area has a propane fireplace. A big screen Sony TV with digital surround sound and full cable. A DVD/CD player, VCR and a Sirius Satellite Radio port. Phone and fax are available.

In the gourmet kitchen you will find an extensive Russell Wright and Fiesta collection, a ceramic top convection oven with built in downdraft, side by side refridgerator/freezer with filtered water and ice, microwave with turbo defrost, coffee/cappuccino maker, dishwasher. Other small appliances are available. A propane BBQ can be found on the deck.

The dining area has a dining room table that opens to seat 6.

The bedroom has a queen size Stearns and Foster pillowtop mattress. There is direct access to the deck via a garden door from the bedroom. The ensuite has a soaker tub with a separate toilet.

The second bedroom has a queen size mattress, an ensuite with a shower and a door leading to the deck.

Slate flooring is found throughout so pet accidents and wet dogs are no problem. This is the bed & breakfast for you and your pet. There is no fencing on the property, so the deer can wander. Dogs are to be leashed on Protection Island. All pet vaccinations should be up to date.

The cottage sits on an endangered ecosystem. I am in the process of establishing a Garry Oak Meadow You will find around the perimeter of the property mature Douglas Fir and endangered Garry Oak.
